What's Up

Well. Life has been very busy.

Let's start with last week. Last weekend I was over a friend's house helping him out with household chores, cooking and cleaning (he was recovering from being sick). I buzzed around town in my 1989 red subaru, grocery shoppping, getting cleaning supplies, driving him places, etc. Then i decided to go out at around seven by myself, maybe grab some chocolate (which he wasn't allowed to eat, poor chap).

Then a stop sign came and I went right through it. Unintentionally. I tried to stop, really I did, because getting creamed in between cross going traffic is not my idea of a happy death. The breaks just wouldn't work. At all. Nothing. Just air, "whoosh" when I tried to hit the pedal. So I pulled the emergency break and stopping IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION. I attribute my current state of LIFE to the St. Michael card I put up on my windshield last week.

Cary Grant's photo is on my mirror, but I'm sure he had nothing to do with it.

So triple A came and towed me away. Now I have to rumage up the garage bill. Anyone have a saint card of Rita???? (Impossible cases?)
