Car Payment, dream on!

That's how I'd like to look at it. I just got my first of 72 student loan bills on this warm december day in Sunny SC. It was followed by a small glass of wine. I am going to have to invest in a vineyard.

It is a couple of months earlier than it should be, but that's okay. The sooner I start the sooner they will be over, and hey, by the time I'm six years older, the student loan debt will be gone. That's a nice thought isn't it?

The college I went to had a strange idea of financial aid: give a few scholarships here, a dozen workstudy jobs here, one or two grants, and tons of student loans. That will help families who can't afford college now afford it later. Right.

But I wanted school and that was the only way to get it. So here goes 1 out of 72 (bottles of beer on the wall.)

Cheers.

(the haunting thought that this sum of monthly money could be going to a Mitsubishi dealer keeps bouncing around my head at a beautifl rate of 70 mph.)
