New Hobby

I am need of a new hobby, preferrably one that is very time consuming. An ideal hobby which would suck up excess stress and prevent the spontaneous combustion of a few of my nerve cells. I have very little to spare. Be easy on my brain waves as well, I have been losing brain cells at a rate of 23% a day. So we have roughly four and a quarter days before I am too brain dead to learn anything else.

I have always found photography to be an excellent diversion, and one that -- if developed properly -- can even be turned toward profitable ends should the interest to transform a hobby into a career take root.

But then, I suppose I would say something like that, wouldn't I?

In a way I have dove into the photography thing, details to follow. . . .
    :)

Yup, you could have posted that anonymously and I would have said, "Hi Ken. Thanks for the note."

Nikon just released their D40, a 6 megapixel SLR that, while it only accepts AF-S lenses (thus reducing its versatility a measurable bit), is an enjoyably compact SLR at an affordable price point.

Not that I'm trying to sell anything. But if you have any sample photos to show already, I look forward to seeing them!

photography is always fun..I have also tried drawing what I have photographed. Not always the best at drawing, but always brings on a calming feeling.
