Music and Tired Members

I am sitting here at the computer because my clarinet practice has been cut short. I just left a room full of two clarinets, a trumpet and a baritone. The baritone was sitting on the bed practicing scales while we the trio tried out hands and mouth at some folk songs.

Why was the baritone left out? He can't play any notes. Has to learn some notes before he can jazz along.

I am out of practice a bit, so my lips tire out after about twenty minutes. Alas, once I could play for two hours. Wonder how long it will take to get back at it. Fortunately the only thing I lost after a long hiatus is the longevity. I remember everything else.

Cheers to music! And double cheers to the music makers!
